If I'm getting the caviar for free is there any reason to buy the sturgeon?

There is never any reason to buy anything, ever again.

If you are getting what you want and your partner is happy with that then there would be no reason for you to change. However, if you are not willing to stand up and make a commitment then there really is nothing to prevent either of you from walking at a moments notice. I think this type of arrangement comes under the heading of FWB.

Just for the record I don't want any caviar or sturgeon. Don't like fish or fish eggs

I dated a woman from Tatarstan, in Russia, (as recounted on here) a month ago, and one thing we did together, was that we went shopping in some Russian stores in San Francisco.

One of the Russian storekeepers thrust a HUGE sturgeon at me (bigger than an outsized Coho salmon ) and insisted (in Russian, which Faya speaks and TEACHES in SF) that it was absolutely fresh and that it was real good and I ought to buy it.

Maybe it was, it didn't smell or anything...

She explained that Russians LOVE to eat sturgeon, from the Caspian sea.

There are three varieties of caviar: Beluga, Sevruga and a mid-grade that I forgot what the name was. I had caviar on a cruise ship in the Caribbean some years back and did not like it:

Too salty..

Oh well. There's always leftovers. Or maybe a doggie bag.
