Why is it that you can never go hungry at the beach?

Because of all the sand-wich-es there. (Free lunch).

I am a newbie from down under who likes to just sit back and read what you have to say, not sure I can keep up with the wonderful banter back and forth between you more experienced scribes.
Whats the definition of Experience -
something you've acquired after its too late to do you much good.

Hey everyone. Not a newbie to the board, just a returnee who spends more time lurking than posting.
I recently ended a relationship and want to spend a good while "getting over it" before actually joining the dating site. Edating hasn't been pleasant for me as a whole, but being perpetually optimistic, I may give it another try.
The only jokes I've managed to retain are not appropriate for the board.

The police asked Tiger's wife how many times she hit him. "I can't remember," Elin said, "just put me down for a 5."

"No" replied Mrs Woods, "but there is a Cheetah in my kitchen"

But remember, Tiger's other women aren't mistresses. They're provisionals

I'm a newbie... so I'll introduce myself. I can be pretty verbose so I apologize ahead of time and am not offended if anyone doesn't want to read my entire posts. Actually, it takes a lot to offend me. And no, that wasn't a challenge to try to offend me. I'm entirely too tired to think of any jokes, but I'll try to come up with one soon...
Welcome, catsetc! No worries about length of post around here, brevity is not our strong point (though we manage to retain the wit quite nicely in spite of this!

Hi ozlady, welcome! Oh, I'm sure that once you get used to it you'll be able to keep up with everything just fine. You just have to get more addicted....um, I mean used to using the site!

Welcome back, Dee! Sorry you are going through a tough time, but glad that we are here to help you though it!
Oh and no worries about the joke thing...I have the same problem...that's why I never tell jokes on the boards!
