Hey everyone!

I forgot to post this thread last week because I was off on Monday and then crazed the rest of the week trying to get caught up from the day off

So, feel free to tell us all about last weekend as well!

How was your weekend? Any dates to report?

Mine was pretty good, mellow, hung out with my best friend, went out to eat, played mini-golf (I won, heh heh heh)

How about you? What'd you do this weekend?

Had relatives visiting all weekend but still had 2 great telephone conversations and a lot of texting with a delightful EH member. Set up a date with her for Tuesday evening, so it was a very enjoyable rewarding weekend for me

I have missed the last several of these as I haven't been around here as much as I would like to be. This past weekend was really fun despite the rain. Friday night the girlfriend and I (the one I have been dating since December -- Matched on November 20th through eHarmony) went out for Mexican Food at my favorite Mexican place in Waco before meeting up with two guys I work with at Clicks (a pool hall in town) Played pool with the girlfriend, the guys, and the wife of one of the guys. Had a few drinks and than we decided to go back to one of the guys apartment to perhaps watch something on NetFlix as both myself and the guy who was going to be my DD had drank a bit too much to be driving so we figured we would crash at this other guys apartment.

We stayed up till about 3AM drinking a bit more and just having a good time and than most of us passed out. Slept in on Saturday morning I had to bring the other guy back to the farm but first we got up had some burgers and than the guy whom was riding with me had never been to a Hastings before (not sure if they have them outside of Texas or not) which IMHO is a very good place for music and books. Of course we are a bunch of nerds and were in the store for a couple of hours. After that we went over to the mall for a bit and killed some time as it was raining or else we would have gone to the flea market which I haven't been to in well over a year.

After the mall I had to get a few things at the grocery store and we came back to the farm. Made spaghetti, put on some Elis Regina and opened a bottle of cheap (Yellow Tail 2009 Pinot Grigio) wine and had a lovely evening followed by some NetFlix viewing, yadda yadda yadda, and a good nights rest.

Sunday morning it was still raining so we laid in bed for a while before getting up to shower, I drove her back to Killeen and we had Tacos for lunch and laid in bed the entire day watching TV the entire day before it was getting late and I had to come back home.

Supposed to be sunny this weekend so I kind of want to take a little road trip with my Canon SLR and her and get some photos. We will see how May pans out, I know the Texas Steak Cookoff is in Hico, TX which I have tickets for is on May 15th but beyond that nothing really planned. Last weekend we spent the weekend in Austin and went to the Texas Linux Fest (Texas Linux Fest | About) and had a lovely Saturday and Sunday together.

Now it is lunch time.

Went to the Spring fest in downtown area. Weather was really nice.

Some of y'all ladies need to wear less revealing tank top when in public, I missed a step because I was distracted and I almost lost my noodle! (as in Pad Thai with lemon chicken! $7.50!)

Went to my best friend's mother's wedding Saturday afternoon. It is soooo great to see her happy again. Her first husband passed away about 5 years ago, and she's been very sad and very lost without him. She ended up marrying a good friend, and they're just so cute together! They really love each other, and I couldn't be happier for them.

I had a date Saturday night. Yep. That's about it. If the guy in the profile and the guy I have been chatting with/talking with on the phone would have shown up for the date, I bet it would have been a good time. Despite that, it was nice to get out and meet someone new.

I'm talking with a new match now, so we'll see what, if anything, comes of that.

I hope others had better luck than I did this weekend!
