I totally agree! I thought I was going to have to get my magnifying glass out to try to find the "bad boy" in the post, but I see that nobody else sees it either.

Typically, when someone refers to a guy that is the "bad boy" type that woman fall for, they think he is some kind of jerk and she should be going for a "nice guy". Nothing in your profile says that you are going to treat a woman badly (which we really don't want anyway), but you are being fairly open about the flawed person you are -- which is refreshing since we all have our flaws and we all want an honest partner. I don't see this as breaking the rules so much as throwing out the rule book on how to right a boring and cliche profile.

I think the thing that blows me away the most and continues to be a source of frustration is that, even when almost every woman on this thread has posted the (essentially) same reaction, men (Biker Beagle, for example), still don't believe us.

There has to be some other causal relationship to the change in emails? It must be because it was moved to the top and can't possibly be because what he wrote sounds more appealing to us? Please.

When are men going to accept and believe that what we are saying is really true for us, whether it's true for you or not?

In order to understand the opposite sex, both sexes need to open their minds to a different way of thinking and a different 'reality' through the other's eyes.

The same thing happened in the thread about how we women really feel about money. Far more of us posted there, all saying essentially the same thing, but the men still all seem completely convinced that we're all lying and all we really want is money. I think this is a big part of the reason why we're still not getting what we want from men.
