My time left is short, I don't plan on renewing, so I am taking a stab that some of you have tried other dating sites.
If so, how would you rate them?

The free ones mostly have scary members (you get what you pay for).

I had about the same actual success (rate of meetings, and quality of meetings) on eHarmony and Match.

But, with eHarmony easier to use, and Match infuriating with the non-responding women, I gave up on Match - same reward with less aggrevation.

I tried PlentyofFishy recently ... and it is so awful to use, and very creepy, that I gave up in about a week. I won't go through profiles looking for a needle in a haystack.

What he said.

I tried Chemistry.com but not other sites like PoF or Match because I like the idea of some kind of matching algorithm as a screening process. I didn't have luck with Chemistry and found it a bit confusing to use, but I also was on it for only 3 months. This was at the same time I was a paying eH member. I'd met a good match on eH and so didn't try all that hard with Chemistry.

Aah. They're all meat markets, but eH has the prime cuts.

When I tried: Match=overwhelming and less relationship oriented. Chemistry=mostly nonmembers.

I have received a couple of emails and ads from Spark. Has anyone heard of/used that particular site?
