Not being curious about the person you're with and just prattling on about yourself...FAIL.
That could be #9.

That sounds like 90% of the women I've gone out with.

Number 7 is the only one listed which bothers me. And then, it is only due to the sheer volume of information flooded my way. Overload!

My pet conversation peeves:

~ people who never shut up. I once went on a date where the man I was with supplied non-stop commentary the entire date.

~ people who ask you point blank about something which you have already discussed, it makes me think he wasn't listening to me the first time.

Actually, I experience men suddenly going on about themselves whenever one seems to be interested in me. It ranges from one man telling me "it's only 300$ to hire that team to do tacos, I might hire them myself" (like he is rich and I should be impressed) to how they write software, sing etc.

And they don't think to really ask me many questions but just proceed to show off. It makes me run off, does not work. I long to connect which means there has to be even some mild curiousity about what makes me tick (even if I am crazy than a bunch of bats filled up with whiskey).

Seems in #8 "I've been online dating for two years and you're my first real date," is pretty scary as well." would speak volumes as to the effectiveness of eHarmony

HaHa...
Yeah, it's a major turnoff when people reminice on how wasted they've been.

Whenever they bring up exes. I want to hear about your ex as much as I want to hear Barry Manilow cover i.e. "butcher" cover tunes from the last 40 years.

Please do not tell me (on our first date) how good-looking your former wife was... how crazy she was... how she ruined your life... how "you women" have it made with that venonmous tone in your voice.  I do not know who she is but I AINT't her!

I couldn't agree more with all but #2.  I find it annoying and obnoxious when guys talk about their experiences of exotic travel and adventure.  Yawn.
