How was everyone's weekend? Any dates to report?

I had a relatively mellow weekend, did errands and housework and cleared out some stuff on my Tivo...also went out to sushi, which I always enjoy (even though I don't like raw fish. OK, sushi purists...bring it...LOL)

How about your weekend, was it a good one? Anyone have any exciting dates to report?

The weirdest thing happened! I dated a guy for about a year; we were both very enamored with each other. Turns out he was married, but (he claimed) in the process of divorcing (he was talking to lawyers) and afraid to tell me. He said he lied about already being divorced in a moment of panic, and didn't want to admit the truth and lose me. He said he was waiting to file for divorce when he would be most likely to get custody of his son. He claimed he was leaving his wife for me. It sounded like an elaborate lie, so I kicked him to the curb. I found out yesterday that he was telling the truth.

Tons of home remodeling projects...after months of physical therapy, threw my back out again lifting all the building materials lol.

Was invited to a bbq cook off...so I'm going for a walk today to burn off the calories!

I shopped this weekend and spent too much money, which I don't feel even a tiny bit bad about. Retail therapy can be good.

I went to see "It's Complicated" with a friend on Saturday night. I haven't laughed like that at a movie in a long time!

Sunday night I went to the Young Adults Bible Study at my church, but spent most of the time I was there on the phone with my dad updating him on the current situation with my ex, who still seems to be having difficulty keeping his promise not to contact me. Oy. I may also have shingles again - yay!!!? lol

But all in all, it was a good weekend.

Friday went to dinner with friends and had a great time. Saturday went to a theater production which was great fun.

I had a first date on Sunday (from another dating sight). Interesting conversation but he referred to his ex as evil and called her names which would be modded. I agreed to another date but I am thinking hating your ex that much is a deal breaker. I was not really attracted to him but conversation was good. Plans on Thursday. We shall see.

There is someone else on the site I really like (in theory anyway) but he is long distance (2-3 hr drive). I would not do long distance but he seems perfect. We are talking tonight so we shall see how that goes.
