I had a really weird dream about dating a guy last night and it made me wonder whether or not our Advicers ever dream about dating or dates?

~~~
In my dream, I as with (like, in a committed relationship) this guy who though I can perfectly remember what he looks like, looks nothing like anyone I know. I knew that he was a dangerous man -- it was as if he was on medication or something that was making him "safe" but the medication was wearing off, and even though I knew I needed to get away from him before it did, I stayed around him. I even saw him viciously attack other people but still wasn't afraid enough to separate from him even though I did feel threatened. During the dream I kept thinking that he could like, stab me to death or something at any moment, yet I remained almost riveted to his side.
It was a REALLY weird dream because I'm not even dating right now! lol
I'm kind of chalking it up to watching too much real-crime TV or something (I'm a big fan of Investigation Discovery Channel)....though I am sure some of you guys will have more....creative interpretations lol
~~~

Aaaaaanyway -- do you ever dream about dating? If so please share some of your more interesting dreams with us if you are so inclined.

Wow, Lori. That is some dream. Sounds like one that I would have. My dreams are always very intense and specific. I don't know why.

Anyway, I haven't really dated a lot, but I do have dreams that I am with someone. That he is my boyfriend. Sometimes, it is with someone from my past. A lot of times, it is with someone that I don't know, but like you, can see his face very clearly.

My dreams are so weird that once I was kissing George Bush.........YUCK!!!! Now, where did that come from? LOL!!!

Hey Maryo. That was no dream - that was a nightmare! Just teasing...sort of!

I don't think I dream about dating, I dream about the people I've dated. Some of the dreams are truly wonderful, sometimes I have those 'have to get away from him' dreams too.

The weird thing is that my dreams are NEVER that linear or memorable. It was almost like I was watching a movie I was in.

Weird, huh? lol

That was definitely a NIGHTMARE! Because, I can't stand him!!

You know what is really weird? My son's father has passed away. A few years ago. (He was my first true love) I dream about him all the time. We are together. It's weird because in my dream, I say to him "I thought you were dead." And he says it was all a hoax."

Like I said, my dreams are weird! I need to have them analyzed.

Maybe it wasn't a date, maybe he was part of an angry crowd, upset about all the website mishaps

And no, I've never dreamed about a date but I do still dream about an ex-bf now and then.

Dude Miss Lori, this is so creepy because last night I just had for the first time a dream about dating! It was strange because I actually, truly felt like I was in love.

I've never seen this girl in my life. However, in my dream she was an average weight blond girl a little bit shorter than I. We were at a pizza place in my dream. Out of her purse she pulls out a little bottle of whiskey and says, "I bought this especially for you." I'm so not making this up. At that moment I felt like, this is the one. I gave her a hug, and she leaned in towards me and I put my arm around her. And we both shared the bottle of whiskey.

Strange and creepy you should ask this today! Whoa maybe it is fate. Maybe in the near future I will meet this girl in my dreams!

lol, When I woke up I wondered if it had to do with work anxiety or something, but on further reflection I really don't think so!

Besides I know you guys get frustrated but you're very good at expressing frustration in non-violent ways!

Justme27....I have had dreams like that before too. Where you just feel so loved and cared about.

Did you wake up with that feeling? And, did it linger for awhile?

Those are great dreams!!

It is creepy that you just had your first dream like that last night and now this topic comes up.
