Well, she called me just now to see how I was doing! So never mind my little conundrum! I'm a happy guy.
I'm so glad she did this! I was going to tell you to call her... forget the "rules" and go for it! Waiting from Monday until Thursday would have been too long to go without talking. There is nothing wrong with talking every day if you are so inclined. You're both clearly smitten, and that is a wondrous feeling!

Yep!

more people should take risks like this girl is with me. It's MUCH more attractive than someone sitting on their hands. The only way this can go wrong is if someone is less interested, and in that case, you might as well find out right away.

there are lot of people who are telling you to hold off on calling, and create a little anticipation and suspense. I'm going to tell you from the other side of things... there are people, like me (and you too if you were that anxious to call), who like communication and believe it is one of the sole foundational necessities of building a healthy relationship. Those types of people seek one another, and it is important that they do stay in contact to demonstrate the constant need for growth and attention to the relationship.

The person I am with now is also like this, and believes that if we go 2 days without talking to one another, that that is a sign of disinterest and he would move on. Do not make the mistake of taking advice from people who do not feel like this and who actually need the exact opposite to build a relationship. They feel the need for constant connection is clingy and does not offer enough space in the relationship. There is no right or wrong in either situation, just different perspectives and needs. You should determine which person you are... and then make sure your potential future partner is on the same page.
