Hellooooooo everyone!

How was your weekend?

Anyone have dates to report?

~~~
I've been sick since last Tuesday night (sniffle!) so unless you count hanging out with a box of Kleenex on the couch as a date....I got nothin'
Let's hear what you've been up to - let me live vicariously through you! lol
If I went out with three different women at the same time, would that count as A date, or three dates?
Nah....I ran some errands...picked some paint samples for my house, some curtains, etc....the girl at Home Depot was cute..no rings on her finger and she was friendly....wonder if I should learn to build a shed or somthin...maybe she'd help
Had three dates this weekend.
Date #1: Met for a Sunday coffee date with another professor. Attractive woman, but I am uncertain about long-term prospects. We agreed to go out again when the craziness from the new semester dies down. We'll see how this turns out.
Date #2: Met someone with whom we both agreed to date casually. Nice woman but I can't see myself dating her long-term because she has two children, and this doesn't fit me. Went out with her because the rapport was otherwise decent.
Date #3: Went out on a second date with the school teacher I've been seeing and will see her again this week for a birthday dinner. She planned our second date and even offered to pay, which I graciously declined, because for a teacher's salary, it was just too much. Her small acts of kindness, thoughtfulness, and straightforwardness are pulling at my heart strings and slowly winning me over.
Drank lots of beer, bottled beer, transfered a very nice Porter to a different vessel. Moved all the brewing equipment to StL.Starting to wonder if I should be concerned that the first major item we move to StL is his brewing equipment. Hum, Stout Thursday. Nah, just good planning.
Quiet Friday in.
Got things done on Saturday then my son made dinner, my sweetie came over and we all went to see "Sherlock Holmes" (great movie by the way) later.
On Sunday, J and I went into NYC to catch the closing performance of "Ragtime" It's a fabulous show and such a shame that it has to close. People are still tightening their belts and theatre is a luxury.
Anyway, great weekend all round.
Lori, hope this finds you feeling much better!
lol...PY, I could just see you taking on multiple home improvement projects just to flirt with Home Depot girl.
P.S. How many dates that is depends on how many second dates you got out of it!
Well lady number three sure sounds promising! You will definitely have to keep us posted on how things progress there - good luck!
It IS good planning! And that's a good thing. I'll drink to that!
Thanks! I am feeling better.
WOW what a great weekend you had! That is a shame that Ragtime has to close but lucky you, getting to go to the final performance. I'm sure it was very memorable!
