Thanks Richey for scaring me further, and no worries I am not communicating with this guy anymore. I actually reported him. Whether or not anything is done or not, it's what I felt was right.

Mr. Flyer you do bring up a good point. Why would someone have less flattering information up? Well I could be wrong, but I do think there is some truth to his own website (contrary to what Richey has said). He lives in a small town and therefore I believe has truthful information up. People probably know him in his own town and could probably verify the information. Again small town stuff. Perhaps he thinks the west coast is different and that he must inflate or pad his profile to make him seem better to matches. That was my logic, but we shall never know.

No telling why the guy lied, but if you have attempted to find out the truth from him and he has delayed being honest than time to go the opposite direction and never look back.

He could be married on one site and single on the other!!

I wouldn't stick around to find the truth though.

I just read yesterday that LOTS of married guys sign onto these sites, perhaps married females also.

What a cluster...........
I am going to suspect that the number of married guys (or girls) on sites such as eHarmony is small. However, there are a number of free sites where cheaters (married guys or girls) abound.

Should you add politicians to that list?

Gr8Guy- Unfortunately it isn't so. I have found a number of guys on eH that have lied about different things. Not so much being married, but other things. Unfortunately you can't take paid sites out of the equation and hope that you have more people being truthful. The dating site where I met this guy is a paid site. Sad huh? It seems sometimes that it's a little too much to ask for people to be truthful since that's a building block to a relationship.
