Seems like matches are few and far between for the last couple of months. Is there some rule that people have to take a winter break or something?

The few that do come up are at or very near the bottom of the barrel and I do not want to set the preferences any lower because that does not seem to help.

So when is winter break officially over??

I have gone through periods like that on eH where I got maybe one match per week, if that. Those matches were as you say "the bottom of the barrel". I felt like eH was scraping the very bottom.

I am a Christian and I also am open to spiritual but not religious matches. I've been getting a ton of those lately, but thus far their must haves and can't stands do not line up with mine. So although I'm getting plenty of matches, they are not "true" matches.

Hang in there, what is weird is sometimes when my account expires and then I sign up again I get a flood of matches. So I'm really wondering about how they do find matches for us at eH.

Don't knock the bottom of the barrel, cream isn't the only thing that floats.
