I second everyone's opinion about asking him about where he is with you, while I also have to agree with Richey that you'll only get the truth if he is indeed honest with you, and it's hard to tell if he's going to be.

What bothers me most about your story - at least most out of those issues that weren't previously addressed by pretty much everyone else - is that he suddenly claims he has "no time to date." Where did that come from? I believe you should ask him to clarify that instead of just responding with silence.

We can only take blind guesses at what he is really thinking/feeling. I believe it's in your best interest to have the dreaded Talk, ask every question you need answered (you seem to be pretty unsure about quite a few ones that you shouldn't be unsure about after five months,) and try to be as objective when listening to his responses as possible.
