How was everyone's New Years weekend?

Any dates to report?

~~~
Mine was pretty low key basically just hung out, played a lot of Scrabble (I'm officially a junkie now), ate a lot of good food, watched a bunch of movies and did some work.
No dates to report here!
~~~

How about you? How did you ring in the new year?

Low key party...just wings and pizza with my buddy and our mutual friend. Stayed overnight and got my first ever morning New Year's Day kiss from her dog the next morning!

Due to some stuff coming up, no dates this weekend. I did have a couple of great phone conversations with the girlfriend and I can't wait to see her again.

Went to the gym very late, spent the rest of the evening, in front of the telly and computer, in my jammies. Sang my National Anthem at midnight and went to bed.

I spent some time at my boyfriend's house. NYE went well, and we exchanged belated X-mas gifts. I got him a tool box; he gave me a couple of books.

One slight bummer happened. We share the same computer, and he had messages to a friend left on the screen. I didn't mean to read them, but they were right there and--ironically, right?--they had been talking about me. Apparently my bf thinks I'm fat/wants me to lost weight. What a mood killer.

Couldn't make the times match up for my date so instead I accepted the invite with some of my car buddies to go to Malibu . Met at Duke's on PCH (seen here)

and did a tour through Topanga Canyon (incredible view at the top then down into the Valley (Woodland Hills). Had lunch at Jerry's jewish deli, it's as good as Canter's in little Israel on Fairfax at Melrose

Combination of hot looking females enjoying 85* weather in sundresses, great people and food, and the amazing things in LA almost seduced me to NEVER leave So Ca,--- so I did, immediately, before I tried to buy a condo overlooking Laguna Beach.

HUGE road trip, 1025 miles in just 25 hours, (a turnaround, almost,) from the Nor Cal Sierra snow to LA beaches and back, that was a Saturday and Sunday for the books and New years, too bad I did it alone, there are some babes from on here who I would have loved for company, you know who you are..

Well that sucks!
Maybe he left them up there accidentally/on purpose so he could get his point across without having to actually say anything to you.
Did you say anything to him about it?

I met 15 other couples at some friends' place that I used to kknow with my husband. Wasn't sure I wanted to do that but didn't want to be alone for the evening so I went. We had a great time playing a word game (guys against girls) and ate a lot and drank a lot. Ringing in New years was a bit awkward but got lots of hugs and kisses from everyone so it was alright.
