I am already on the way back, and would like to remind everyone that these big cars LOVE big trips, it was sublime traveling both ways, excluding the horrendous valley tule fog early this morning around Bakersfield and Tulare and through most of the valley --- at 3am you could see 20 feet ahead of you so it was slow going in the wee hours today.

For those of you guys who haven't travelled too much on long trips lately, go ahead and take a LONG trip.

You won't feel hammered, if it's a Mercedes you'll be reminded that long comfortable trips are what these cars were engineered to do.

When I slam the garage door in a couple or three more hours, I will have done 800 miles in less than 24 hours, and am not feeling beaten down, as likely in any other car, much my old 19 y o one !!

Great to have seen my LA pals again, and omg the beach weather!!!

From the rain and snow to 85* beach weather, and women in backless sundresses, 450 miles away, like a dream,.... and now back to the rain and snow again....in less than a day!!!

Some days being single..just....WORKS, you know what I mean?

That's a nice looking Benz. That red 'Stang behind yours looks like a double of mine, though. I did a double look on it (then noticed that there was no UCLA paraphernalia on the rear view mirror or steering wheel)!
