Guys do it all the time: put it all on the line, walk up, say hello, and ask to see us again.

So....have you ever approached a man you thought looked/sounded interesting? If so how did it go?

If not -- could you? Would you? Why or why not?

I have done so twice in my life. The first time was my ex-husband and the second time resulted in a 2yr relationship.

Seriously? This is why women don't approach you in bars. Just kidding, where are we supposed to be for this role playing? Kinda relevant I can't see me asking you what you are drinking in the grocery store.

You can ask me what I'd like to be drinking, as illistrated by the following helpful example:

Lady, on the prowl: Hi!

Frog, a bit slow (again): Umm ... hello?

Lady, not keen on wasting time: What are you drinking?

Frog, furtive glancing around: Umm ...

Lady, careful ennunciation now: What! Are you drinking?

Frog: Yes, please!

Lady: What?!

Frog: Hi!

Lady: Umm ... hello?

Frog: Are you single?

Lady: Not anymore, at this rate.

Gosh I have seen some very handsome guys in bars that I was interested in approaching and just couldn't for the life of me bring myself to do it. Of course, after I beat myself up over it but still can't do it. God bless men for having the courage . I think I'm still too old school, traditional or something...

Lets see, with Troy I walked up to overhear Dave (masterbrewer) and him talking about making a heat sensing probe. I said, "Damn I guess I missed out on a great conversation." Troy blushed, I sat between them but slightly behind so that they could continue their conversation. (background, I know Dave since I am in there far too much) We talked for hours. Dave felt ignored and went to check on his beer......
