Birthday dilemma and getting a date!!

[COLOR=black][FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=4]My birthday is coming up shortly after New Years. I do not currently have a date, although I am now seeing 2 guys (3 if you count a “friend” who I go out with regularly). Either of them would be more than happy to take me out, but none of them know that it’s my birthday . My ex asked to take me out but I told him I’m making other plans.

I would just come out and tell him it is your birthday on such and such a date and see what his response is.

yes, this is one approach that I have thought about. I think I might feel more comfortable with a different approach since I have not mentioned up to this point and we have been emailing every day.

If guy#1 didn't work out, I'd go out with ya! Heck you're only couple hours drive from me! (I even walk you to your car!)

I have had 57 birthdays so far without having a date or any other type of SO to share it with.

You could ask Guy #1 to go out without telling him that it is your birthday. Two birthdays ago I asked a friend to join me for dinner but made no mention that it was my birthday. I baked a cake for myself. I cut two slices and put them in plastic containers. After dinner I took out the two pieces of cake and mentioned that it was my birthday.
