Hey everyone!

How was you weekend? Any dates to report?

I had an AWESOME weekend!

Started it off by being super efficient on Friday night, running a bunch of last-minute holiday errands.

Had breakfast with one of my best friends on Saturday, then got a call from my godfather who was in town and wanted to meet me for lunch - it was GREAT to see him and his wife and get caught up!

Then I went to spend the rest of the weekend with my best friend and we ate a lot of very yummy food (bad Lori!!! Can't imagine what I did to my diet...lol) and I watched the entire last season of Entourage...man I love that show).

The weekend was capped off by the eHarmony holiday party which was a lot of fun. It's so great to be able to relax and socialize with co-workers, and see everyone all dressed up!

I worked on Saturday, then went to a surprise B day party for the very young boyfriend of one of my friends. That was interesting and I ended up defending myself against someone that had no respect for boundries of any kind. Yesterday went shopping ALL day, as I haven't done anything yet to get prepped for Friday. I keep hoping it will get cancelled this year! All in all , a good weekend, and I got out of the house quite a bit.

No dates, but enough drinks and food for sure! Invited to three parties on Saturday (all at 6:00PM) and one on Sunday.

I ended up making it to two. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. A couple parties on Saturday were opposites of each other and I didn't want to spend 1 1/2 hours driving around just so I can be at each place for half an hour...

BUT good thing is, I walked five miles on Friday so I burned some calories

Glad everyone had a good weekend. I spent time with my family and son... so, good deal. Fighting with the ex and other... drama. However, this is Christmas week and I absolutely refuse to be pouty!!! I need good dating stories so that I can trudge forward after Christmas!

My boyfriend came to my hometown and met my friends/family. We had a great time, expecially because this past week he got pretty distant due to personal stuff. It was nice to reconnect. For the past couple days I've been trying to figure out a surprise he has planned. He said he bought sparkling wine for New Year's that is "themed" to the occasion.

Saturday I went to a party here in the complex I live in. Sunday I had coffee with six-hour-conversation guy. We plan to go skating once I get back from Christmas at my sister's.

I went with my EH movie buddy guy. I thought there would be a huge line so got there 45 minutes before the movie started at 11:30 a.m. Sunday and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot! Well, this complex had 4 theaters showing Avatar 3D so no problems getting a ticket.

We had lunch afterwards, and I had oatmeal raisin cookies and a gift for him. He paid for movies and lunch. Still not sure about him. We've been dating since summer (and even the previous fall) and progress is SLOW.

In the meantime I'll meet up with my artist friend for post-Xmas lunch and hanging out. (Seeing as he wants to have kids some day, I'm not getting my hopes up!)

Firday... spent time with my son. He ignored me most of the night. He's 14 so I hope for those little moments of a quick hug or peck on the cheek now and then. Walked about 3 miles - 1 on the treadmill at my parent's house. It's been rainy here.

Saturday... Coffee with Rich C., it was a lot of fun. We talked for about 3 hours. No definite plans with him in the near or distant future. But, he's definitely interested. Now I just have to get him to quit smoking and convert him to my more conservative thinking!

Spoke to the SNAG that afternoon.

Saturday night I went out with Rich F. and stayed up WAY too late. Told all of you about that in my "impatient" post. Still waiting for the phone call!

Sunday... walked my 4 miles (might have been further) and took in the casino for about an hour. Not much else, just brooding over Rich F. and my still yet to happen phone, text or e-mail!

Oh, Lords of the eHarmony Advice Board! Give me strength to not call this man again! To wait until he contacts me! Take away all of my chasing ambitions!
