Depends on the seriousness of it and the reasons behind it. I will give people second chances if I felt it was an honest mistake and she apologized....after that...thats it..

Without more information it is tough to say but at some point I would have though Charlie would have just kicked her in the face.

It's hard to say without knowing the situation. If something comes up that sounds legit that's fine. She must do a counter offer though. If it sounds like she wants to have her cake and eat it too or if she doesn't act very enthusiastic; then, I just stop calling.

Depends on why she's pulling the football. Unless there is cheating involved, I'll give a second chance ...but, after that, the old saying comes to mind - "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me".

Depends on the excuse. Does it sound legit? Does your gut instinct tell you it's bogus and she's jerking you around? Does she offer a specific "make-up" plan (and more importantly, follow through with it)? Or does she purposely keep things vague? It takes two to tango
