We've been only dating for a few months, so I don't expect him to consult me on this move. Also, it was a job transfer, which he was given very little notice on. In fact, he stated that he would really like to stay in the area, but really at this point in time does not have a say in the matter. Also the 4 hours includes possible traffic (and there is no snow).....so technically it's more like 3 hours without traffic.

Anyways, thank you everyone for your advice/opionions on this matter. I've decided to move on.
