lol! You can try to "steal" me away. My microfiber sheets (man's greatest invention!) have a hold on me. But I think I have Stockholm's syndrome and I am not going anywhere.

(Well, maybe to the kitchen for a new beer!)

They come in colors? Really I don't think I know enough about frogs.

You work for the government? *hugs* I think I will stay on the public side of the equation.

Do you guys feel like come January you should be wearing a shirt that says I don't practice tax, leave me alone.

BEA, I am sorry you are sick again. I was very sick this week and it was horrible. Yuck!! I still managed to put in forty hours this week. Which is less than normal for me but I did it with only two days in the office. So yay, Liz! Still hit all my deadlines and then some. But this weekend will be really low key!

Rest up and feel better. Teachers should get hazard pay!!!!
Thanks Lizzie. And good for you for getting the hours in and hitting your deadlines!

Ya know I had a guy at the pub chatting me up next to his girlfriend. He asked what I did and I said accounting. He said fascinating. After a moment to reflect on did I hear him right I said no, not really. I love it, but, not fascinating. Brings me back to which brain some guys think with.

I do want to practice forensic accounting. That is fascinating, also funny how many people you can convince that it is the practice of taking money off dead people.

Yeah, thanks! I did toot my own horn a little bit just now but hey, I did good. I am proud especially since I felt terrible. Plus, no kudos for me at the workplace - they just know that I would do what it takes...but still...

I will take the pat on the back from you. I needed it.

Yeah, looking to move out of government. Thankfully the job market up here in the great white north seems to be a lot better than for y'all. So I should be able to move on before fiscal year end.

I'd like to have that t-shirt year round. I got a tax question at dinner on Sunday night. My last tax course was 12 years ago. I took a guess, but made sure the person I was talking to was clear that it was nothing more than an educated guess.
