I will be doing homework I chose to ignore last night. I think I have three exams next week. Why do professors always cram them together?

I am bored. I have too much to do and I don't want to do any of it. I had plumbing issues that threw off my carefully laid out plan of getting everything accomplished that I needed to do and now I have accomplished nothing.

And I am just pretending that losing today does not matter. Tomorrow...it will hit me, double!

Because of my own fear, I am missing out on a night of fellowship and fun. I am too timid to drive two hours up and two hours back to join in. I asked everyone in my area who I thought might be interested in getting out on a Saturday night with me, and not one person was available...they had other plans...we'd get back too late...it's too far away...it's not really my kind of music. I've realized that hanging out with me is just truly not important enough to some them. Oh well...I guess I'd better work on growing up, being a big girl, and lose my fear of traveling late at night/early a.m. alone if I want to get out and have some wholesome fun with like-minded people...or save up for a hotel...hmmm...writing on here really helps...maybe I'll book a hotel room next time!

So...I will work, drive the kids to/from their various destinations, work some more, and go to bed early. It's not so bad after all. At least I get to talk with the kids a little more by being together in the car for a little while.

I had a date last night, I'm exhausted and mentally a bit out to lunch...

Tonight is the big holiday party for my company. I bought a dress just for the occasion.

But I don't know if I can bring myself to get dressed and go.

I just want to eat ice cream and watch TV.

Hey CP - did you come up with a Halloween costume? Or did you not go to the party?

ah, the halloween fiasco. We had a mini-argument about that.

But it turned out to be a great night. He met with some friends for dinner (it turned out to be more of a birthday party than costume party) and I met him after that, which was easier for me since it was a Friday and we live an hour apart. Not easy on days I work. And I really didn't have time to come up with a costume since I was travelling that week.

so, yes, I got out of it entirely
