Hi everyone,

I'm a bit shy so its kind of weird for me to be posting intros like this but I thought what the heck I already made a crazy rant on the virgin thread so I might as well just introduce myself before people think I'm the crazy cat lady next door.

I'm Fayth, but of course that isn't the name I was given when I was a kid because like most Asian kids I was given a very complicated sounding Asian name which is a terrible tongue twister although an interesting conversational piece.

An interesting fact about me?
Hm, I'm a pretty straight up person and though I have a very adventurous and adaptable personality I have not done many things my age group normally has out of choice - clubbing, etc - perhaps it was meant to be but I have a mild allergy to alcohol so it makes my job very much easier to avoid it.
But I do love horror movies. So I guess the interesting fact would be that although I love horror movies I am absolutely scared sh!tless of horror flicks and spend most of the 1 1/2 hour peeping through my fingers and palms while watching it.
I'm in the arts industry so I have a terribly overactive imagination and these horror movies don't help at all! But I can't help loving to watch it!
Same goes for video games.

I love animals, walks, cycling, art, video games, cooking, making a beautiful home, religion, debating, writing long novels and travelling (did I mention I'm scared sh!tless of flights too? :P).

I came to eH by accident, really.
I saw an interesting article on yahoo! and though am not in the habit of leaving comments I decided to post a comment. I had to sign up so I did, but the threads here are very interesting so I thought perhaps it would be nice to stay a while and get to know people.

So that's about it I guess.

Hi Lori et al.

I'm a Newbie to eHA, but not a lurker - just like in RL, I pick and choose the conversations I'll jump in on. I'm a paying eHarmony client and stumbled upon the boards by clicking on one of the advice articles on "the other side".

Let see... what can I tell you of interest?

I'm quickly becoming dissillusioned with eHarmony and will likely not renew my subscription when the time comes. Oh... and I have the ability to independently move, pick things up with, and cross my toes. Crazy Canadian!

Hi everyone.

I'm a 47-year-old, single mom of four, grandmother of one, with three teens at home. I've been divorced for three years. I have NEVER dated before, (my ex-husband and I met as kids and were just pretty much always together or in touch) so I guess I have a LOT to learn!!! It has taken a long time for my heart to heal, as my ex-husband is the one who chose to end the marriage, but I believe I'm finally ready to move on with my life. I don't feel I NEED a man in my life, but I feel that life would be more fun shared with a man who loves God and family.

I've been a paid EH member in the past, but I am not currently a paid member. I came to EH with a question a couple of weeks ago and have posted a little bit, but I have mostly been lurking. I don't feel I really have all that much to offer others on here, as I've not dated. These boards have so much helpful information, and I appreciate all of you who take time to post.

As far as an interesting fact about me…hmmm…I guess it would just have to be that I've not dated, yet I'm 47, or that I've earned the label "groupie" because I now follow four Christian bands around at coffeehouses and other functions. I've recently rediscovered how much fun it is to get out and listen to live music! I feel like I'm a teenager again!

Thanks again to all of you who keep these boards going.

Blessings.
