Met an eH match at Starbucks for a "date" on Saturday night. My SOP is Italian food with a couple of glasses of wine but this was her first eH date so she made the call. She had been hot for me from the first communication. We text messaged some Friday and hot and heavy Saturday while she was working. We were going to meet Sunday but couldn't wait that long.

She was HUGE and didn't match her picture. I didn't let on in the least. I was back in action after being out of the dating scene a few months. I thought I'd just be my charming self no bragging or BS'ing and with my extra confidence of losing weight and toning up the past three months this would be good for my ego.

After a couple of hours, I walked her to the car and kissed her goodnight but didn't really feel any passion from her. Text messaged her to make sure she got home okay and she did. No communication the next day so I sent her a text in the afternoon. She wrote back and again said she had a nice visit. Nothing else the rest of the day so I closed her out for no chemistry last night.

What the heck? Posters here have gotten in trouble...including me...for assigning numbers to assign attractiveness so I'll just say I was way more attractive than her so I'm dumbfounded.

Once again, a woman's thinking has left me confused and my ego bruised.

why is your ego bruised? you said you didn't feel any passion for her.

maybe even though you were more attractive then her, she thought you were a jerk. not saying you are, but i wouldn't be upset because an ugly man thought i was a horrible witch and didn't want to date me. I mean, fat girls have standards too.

Hmmm. Interesting.

You seem to have a rather large and sensitive ego (telling us all how attractive and naturally charming you are and how this woman was so hot for you? Seriously?)
But then when a woman you say you have no interest in shows no further interest in you, your ego is 'bruised?'
As Ms Scarlet said, why do you even care what this woman thinks of you? Perhaps you have some insecurity issues that you're trying to cover up by talking about how great you are, and she saw through it?
Insecurity is never attractive. And it's a lot harder to hide than you would think.
Or maybe you didn't pretend as well as you thought you did and she could tell you weren't really interested in her.
But that's just a random thought from the little info you've posted here. Really, nobody knows what that woman is thinking besides the woman herself.

But again, who cares? Why do you let the random unknown thoughts of uninteresting strangers bother you so much?

So basically you just presumed that because she is fat and unattractive according to your tastes, she would be desperate enough to date anyone who is willing. I guess you just found out that that is a wrong presumption.

It's this little thing called chemistry and there was none of that for her with you. Just because she is overweight does not mean anything when it comes to chemistry and does not make her automatically desperate to date anyone who is willing whether she likes him or not. Better be single than date someone you are not interested in. Sounds like she has more self esteem than you do, OP since you went after her despite your personal lack of attraction while she was true to her personal tastes and rejected you. There is no mystery or confusion here - just a woman who knows what she does not want....lol.....

If you didn't think she was unattractive, why did you kiss her goodnight? That would leave HER dazed and confused.

Maybe you use this date in combination with you losing weight to make yourself feel better after being overweight yourself?

Tsk tsk that's not nice *waves finger*

So you are upset this HUGE woman wasn't into you? Was she like 5'6" deuce and a half huge?

Why would you care if someone you weren't attracted to wasn't attracted to you?

Why would you kiss someone you weren't attracted to? Ewww?
