Wow ...I'm speechless. This thread needs to be deleted.

I don't know if it was Trixie's intention (I'd like to think not), but it seems like this thread has a hidden agenda from the 'sisterhood' ...lure guys out in the open by asking for our opinions - and clarifications of our opinions - and calling us "wussies"? wth? very mature ...then when we try to give it, 3 or 4 of you jump out of the bushes and attack. You aren't looking for reason and understanding, you are looking for an excuse.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not participating in this warlock hunt.

You do know men can be virgins too BikerBeagle, don't you?

I do hear ya.

But by the same token, someone who doesn't know what they're doing is wonderfully suggestible. You know, helpful hints like "No, it's always me first" "women always expect this" "you now have to pop downstairs and rustle up a meal"

There was no hidden agenda at all. A guy made the statement that getting a virgin is considered the holy grail to some young studs and Trixie said oh yeah, how come? Rather than hijack someone else's thread she made a new one.

I can't speak for anyone else here at these boards, but I would have respected posting likely reasons for the attitude that some girl's virginity is a prize to be won.

It's the dancing around the elephant that I find comical.

"Ladies First!"
Do you suppose that's where it came from?
No pun intended.

Yes, BikerBeagle was the guy who first said it, then Benevolence agreed. (p.1 & 2)

http://advice.eharmony.com/boards/da...e-like-me.html (is he using me or does he like me?)

It seems that most guys who would like to be with a virgin some day, don't really have an honest reason even for themselves for why.

My point was in "some" guys eyes she would be the holy grail, not in "my" eyes.
Hope that clears things up. As for why I think a few people covered that in this thread - ego, insecurity, bragging rights, conquest, adding it to his list, there could be a littany of reasons.
Again you'd be better off just calling the guy that bought the virgin that auctioned herself off lol

Yeah, I really can't give any valid reasons. At an emotional level I do have the feeling that in general I prefer a woman having less sexual experience rather than having more....but I really can't think of any valid, rational reason for this.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates your honesty on this. Seriously.
