I do not want to wait (nor will wait) 3 days but want to leave some (small) time for her to also breathe-up and work out the date. It also helps building a bit of tension, which is never a bad thing. It's not about game-playing or trickery, but relationship-building. If there was attraction, don't want to kill it (either by rushing to jump-up the boat and look like someone needy or a suckup, nor by showing distance or indifference).
