Okay, this is kind of awkward for me so I am asking for help and suggestions

I'm dating someone that, well, I used to date but hadn't seen in a few months. So, it feels very 'new' even though we have a 'past' we never really did meet each others friends and family, we never got that far.

So, he's asked me to go to a Halloween party next weekend and he is really getting into his costume planning. This will be the first time I will meet these people (besides him) and I will be in costume.

This seems awkward to me. I have to really think about what to be now, as it is also a first impression! Also, it seems I might have to consider the 'sexy but not over the top halloween costume' this year and I usually don't like those because they are not really creative.

However, the last few years with friends I've ended up in some way or another, a MAN on Halloween....I don't think I should go that route this year.

Suggestions?

The typical halloween costume seems to be to take a typical character that any child would wear (princess, fairy, vampire, witch, etc.)....but make it sleazy (I'd use another word, but trying not to get modded). I can't say as I recommend doing that....but that seems to be a pretty common choice for women.

You are right! And that is actually what I am trying to avoid....I like to be creative. But I want to still be attractive, but not...."sleazy"

I usually go for ridiculous and funny but that seems not the best option this year either.

I was thinking maybe Marylin Monroe? Or some other 'character'

or maybe an object....like a piece of cheese or a compass....see...lol there I go again. Maybe I'll just be a road map. But I'll show a lot of leg.

Let me guess....the road map will have several 'destinations' circled?

I'm liking the road map idea.....different cities could be matched to different parts of your anatomy....without regard to how you feel about each city rather than with regard to where they are actually located on a map.

.....or you could different date #s on various parts of your body. One place on you says "1st date".....somewhere slightly more intimate says "3rd date"......and so on.
