I'm sitting at home alone on my computer waiting for bluebella to post.
  • I bought a new laptop for my master's course since my other one died death by motherboard from my daughter spilling Gatorade on it,
  • Then grocery shopping
  • Came home and plugged in the computer because it has to charge overnight
  • Briefly stressedover not being able to do web designs due Sunday for class on 10 year old desktop, got over it and checked out eh advice posts.
  • Read D_Lion's post, and laughed until I cried..... Hey, D_Lion, you saved me the trouble of seeing what is happening at "...novel idea" post.

I know! That's what I said.

It's one thing to offer me an incentive but to penalize me ...

And I felt sorry for the ones with spouses. They will get penalized if the spouses don't tow the line as well. It's completely ridickerous but what can you do?

Howdy, I'm here, too. Lurking as usual. Sent two kids off with friends (one to the movies, the oldest to the "haunted house' here in SD.) the youngest is entertaining himself with his 'buddies" so I have a quiet moment to pursue the boards.

No flu shots here. Never had one and probably never will. Not even my kids have had one. Guess we've been fortunuate.

fight who? no one makes you get the company insurance plan ... there just aren't really any good alternatives.

But to be fair ... I can opt for a "coaching" session instead of a flu shot. I just don't feel I need a coaching session either. I have no major health issues, my weight is normal, I read science wires on nutrition and I eat healthy meals. But I will sit through one on a subject I already know a lot about anyway I guess. *grumbles*

It is not the company insurance plan that is dictating this. Do you work for a government agency, a union or maybe it is something in your state? Any of those...it does not matter - you have the right to decide what should or should not be taken into your body.
