How was everyone's weekend?

Any dates to report?

~~~
My weekend was just plain busy! On Friday night I took a close friend out to dinner for her birthday. We were going to see Paranormal Activity but it was sold out so we got some Coldstone and did a little shopping instead.
The rest of the weekend, well, I go on vacation in a few days and so spent the weekend running errands for the trip and prepping stuff in anticipation of being gone. I also went to the gym a couple times and squeezed in a little work and R & R.
Nothing even remotely resembling a date, though.
~~~

How about you???

Saturday night we went to the Zac Brown concert. Awesome geetar pickin' and overall great time. I think we were the oldest geezers there.

Last night we just watched the Phillies beat up on the Doggers. I'm thinkin' they shoulda saved some of those runs last night for tonight.

That is all.

Sounds like a great weekend! Except for the part where the Dodgers lost, of course...

Oh wow I love the weekend round ups!

Ok so, Friday had friends over, played the card games "B.S." an Yuker (I'm guessin on the spellin) Had fun talkin to my guy friend for a while. Thats pretty much it. lol That ended round 3am.

Saturday up early bout 8am, fixed 2 Lasagnas, bunches of salad an garlic bread, brownies for dessert lol an bunches of sweet tea, invited anyone who wanted to come over, to come on over, an fed everyone an then I proceeded to win 4 rounds of "B.S." in a row! I laughed So hard I was actually cryin because they couldnt figure how I did it lol. (I dont have a very good "poker face" so they were baffled to say the least) That all ended round 1am an then....

Sunday, up early round 7am I baby sat my 2 nieces for my Brother an his wife since it was their 5th anniversary an they went out to eat an a movie, then I went out with my guy friend, he took me out to dinner, we talked an laughed an had a great time. It was closing time for the resturant we went to by the time we realized how late it was, an finally left lol

We werent ready to head back to my house so we went to 'wally world' an jus walked around talkin an holdin hands laughin an havin fun, I attempted to sneak up on him a couple of times, an was unsucsessful to say the least. LOL But it was still silly an fun.
We actually didnt get back to my house until bout 1am this morning.
Then we said our goodnights in person, then again, on the phone when he got home.

So I didnt get to sleep until oh I dont know, round 2am? An had to wake up at 5:30am to drive my mother an a few others to the airport for their cruse they left for this mornin. The drive takes 1 an a half hrs one way so I drove for a total of 3 hrs on 3 an half hrs of sleep, then took me a nap an came into work an am T-I-R-E-D! lol

I really LOVE my weekends, but boy am I tired an am lookin forward to restin this week after work lol.
Oh I forgot, I gotta work on my halloween party costume this week an next week so its ready for the halloween party. Ah. Ok, I can do this, but first on my monday agenda after work is a NAP! lol

I invited her over after a great date on Friday, and the physical chemistry was there.

Saturday, I had things to do, and she said she wanted to clean my house (she'd talked about it a bit while we were chatting on the phone, b/c she can't clean her mom's place where she lives b/c its so crowded), so I said, OK, stay a bit longer (I wasn't cool with it, but I thought I'd take a chance, and, well, a clean house did sound appealing).

When I got home, I realized after talking w/ some friends how f'd up the situation was, and decided I'd take her back to her place then. She was drunk and it was hard to deal w/ her when I returned.

I didn't realize she had a drinking problem until Sunday (though I suspected it on Saturday). Who starts drinking at 10 am on a Sunday, anyways?

She got drunk, and I had to fight her off of me b/c I wasn't feeling any chemistry with her at all (at one point telling her that this was tantamount to a sexual assault). And then she got that whiny, emotional drunkenness that only the mentally troubled and prom dates can get. Basically wanted me to be her knight to rescue her. I told her my last three relationships started that way, and they failed, and I'm not doing it again. But I had to explain it over and over again like fifty times b/c she was so wasted. That was one of the worst 1.5 hour drives I've ever taken in my life, but to be fair, the drive back was that much nicer...

Anyways, thanks eharmony, great match!
