jayjay, you're normally so rational. I really don't think - not that he needs me to defend him - olneyjeeps was anywhere out of line. I, for one, understood about the different colors [although I did not understand the prostitution part later on].
Sorry, full reference (I think he was offended by my use of the term "whores"):

"Whore" and "Whores" redirect here. For other uses, see Whore (disambiguation).
"Prostitute" redirects here. For other uses, see Prostitute (disambiguation).

Prostitution is the act or practice of engaging in sex acts for hire.[1] In most cultures, prostitution is viewed as a deviant profession,[2] either illegal or socially discouraged. However motivations for suppressing it can vary significantly from basic moral repugnance, to concerns about the effects of it on society and on those who practice it, as well as whether it is an exploitative practice.[3]
The word "prostitution" can also be used metaphorically to mean debasement or working towards an unworthy cause.[1]

Ok, this is an interesting situation that has come up and one that I don't have a specific answer for. (And I bet you thought VCL"s knew the answers to everything!)

I checked the Community Guidelines and it is not addressed specifically. I have pm'd one of the moderators that appears to be online, so hopefully we will have an answer soon. I would like to know the answer to this as well.

Until we get a ruling from the referee , let's return to the topic at hand, which as I recall involves farm animals and dairy products, right?

And could someone tell me how this thread applies to those of us who only drink soy milk?

The bottle stands forlorn, a symbol of the dawn
No milk today, it seems a common sight
But people passing by don't know the reason why."

Uh, actually we were talking about more than "drinking" milk, but if that's what you prefer.....

Well, assuming you are not into women, you should be OK. This might be why regular milk gives me cramps and diarrhea. But come to think of it, I am not into sausages either

Ok, I guess that analogy didn't really work......

Where is that smiley with the foot in the mouth. I guess the right analogy is "Why buy the soybean farm when you can get the milk for free?"

Hi Everyone (and thank you, Yoga_gal, for contacting me) –

In this case, Olneyjeeps was differentiating his posts from the posts he was responding to with different colors. So there is no problem with this “homemade quote feature”. Going forward, to make it clear, we’d encourage people to use the quote feature so there’s no misunderstanding.

All the best,

I'm confused. Should we do this or not?
