That's what you can tell the officer when he arrives. "Honest officer....he LOOKED like he was 18."

Trixie....and for the record, I have never dated anyone half my age (yet).

I waded into the pool and discovered that there isn't any water in it. Now, I'm just standing there scratching my head wondering what to do next.

I have swam about 100 laps and am tired of swimming. I don't want to drown from exhaustion, so I am sitting on a chair catching some sun, watching all the tanned hotties jump in the pool while I catch my breath. I am stronger and leaner from the swim, but exhausted and need a break and a Pina Colada.

If someone goes to a place that is for adults only, shouldn't I be able to assume that he is eighteen?

You'd think that, wouldn't you? Or that if someone has fake ID that you wouldn't be responsible.....but no, if they're not of legal age you bear the responsibility for knowing this. Watch out for those 16 year old boys in bars with fake ID trying to seduce older women.
