Would you date someone if there was absolutely no physical attraction whatsoever?

I've tried going out with guys where there was absolutely no physical attraction but we had a lot in common and got along well, but it never works.
That's called friendship, and it's perfectly OK.

To me, if there's no attraction, it's not dating, just friends. That doesn't mean she has to be the most beautiful woman in the world, but if there's no attraction at all, I'm not interested. Attraction doesn't always happen right away.

Required ingredient: Enthusiasm

Enthusiasm: originally meant inspiration or possession by a divine afflatus or by the presence of a god.

While in the presence of god, anything is possible

Fear:
Where there is love, there is no fear
Where there is fear, there is no love

Maybe a couple of times, just to see if there was potential...but, if still nothing, no.

For me, attraction isn't necessarily about their physical appearance. Sure, I can't be disgusted, but there have been quite a few times, where I've seen a plain guy, bust through a complicated arithmetic calculation in his head rapidly in front of me and I was totally turned on!

Does this make me a nerd-lover?

That's a good start, but not quite enough. One example would be when this one guy, who was trying to figure out the construction cost of something did a series of 3 digit additions and then 2 digit multiplication, followed by some division, all quickly in the matter of seconds in his head. I think I drooled a little...
