Hey folks!

How was your weekend? Any dates to report?

My weekend was good, a bit busy but still somewhat relaxing. I watched "Bruno" which was twisted, but funny. lol

How about you, did you have a good one as well?

Best,
-Lori

I met someone off Match whom I have been talking to every night for about 2 weeks on Friday. Date went spectacular and he asked me out again Saturday night. Date #2 went better then the first and he mentioned going on another date during the week. We still talk everyday so far. Woohoo!

Nothing too exciting this weekend, went to see Zombieland, that was pretty funny. I'm looking forward to next weekend however, we're going to brunch at Starved Rock State Park. It should be quite lovely with all of the fall colors. I do hope the weather is nice.

No dates...though a 'match' invited me to join her and friends for happy hour Friday evening, but I've been feeling a bit sick the last week and declined.

Saturday night I watched 'Indochine' at my place with a woman friend (the one I mention in my 'different types of intimacy' thread) and then had 'brunch' with her Sunday from 11:30 am til 4:30 pm during which we had another great conversation.

This is the woman I also mentioned on last week's 'Roundup' as one I don't see any long term relationship potential with for a number of reasons...but have been tempted to have a physical ('incidental', as she puts it) relationship with anyway. It's just that when I feel affectionate with a woman....it would be easy to let that transfer over into more physical contact. But I'm taking your advice Lori....and not going there. She is becoming a good friend though.

If plans don't fall through I'll be going across the border overnight this coming weekend with a colleague to meet his sister-in-law. I'm looking forward to that.

No time for dates this past weekend. Maybe this next weekend, for a date on the weekend, (idk. ..)

Went street racing again, here is my photojournal of it to paste into your browser if anyone wants to see what happened...( drivers shown in #23.)

Saturday we went to a street 'Fall Fest' in a renaissance area of the city and saw the Bacon Brothers. Kevin's a cool dude but he looked a bit emaciated and beat up. He must wear a lot of make-up for the movies. Even still, the women were all over him. My girlfriend waited in line for his autograph while I looked around a bit. Then we listened to a little music and looked through more exhibits and artsy stuff. Eh, it was OK.

Later we went down to South Street and had a couple beers and got some Greek food. And checked out some of the freaky folks. And the freaky folks in Kondom Kingdom. Cool store with all kinds of fun stuff. Now that I think about it, they probably thought us old fogies were the freaky ones. It's kind of funny that we keep going back there. Maybe it's the Greek food.

This coming Saturday we're going to see Zack Brown Band. Yee Haa.

I was matched with a member of the Zac Brown band a few years ago, and communicated with him at length.
