Sorry if this gets confusing, this is my first post and and I am very confused myself!

So here is my story. I am new to eHarmony and have gone into OC with a couple guys. Last week, I was matched with a guy that I've previously met. We don't really know each other. He works with my best friend (who says he's a great guy), who doesn't know I'm on an online dating site. We go to the same school (all 3 of us) and my friend and I are always together. We haven't seen him on campus since the year started but who knows when it could happen.

I feel like I should let him know about this friend as soon as possible so that we don't end up in a weird situation but how can I do this without sounding creapy? Like I said, my friend really likes this guy (as a friend by the way) and so I know way more about him than what he's told me so far (he just opened OC).

OK, that's it for now, hope someone as some words of wisdom for me .

In my opinion you are right to get this in the open and out of the way.

I would use the OC to say you think you recognize him as [so-and-so] from [school]. Assuming you’re interested in him as a dating partner, that creates an ideal situation, because you can also write “I didn’t know you were available!”, or something.

I would add that I was interested in setting up a meeting at that time, as well.

Agree completely with D_Lion. Just be upfront in a very casual way.

Best of luck!
