Guys, after you've asked for a phone number (and the woman has supplied it), how long do you wait before making the call?

On a modern cell phone with infuriatingly small buttons, ten seconds.

I don't like to waste time on the phone. But if I have to, when I ask for the number (or when it's given to me without asking), I ask for a good time to call, and I call at that time. Then there's no misunderstanding or room for game playing.

What do you mean timeline? Isn't there a real big difference between online vs in person...no matter how clear you were prior to meeting??

***
Added: No matter what you think about prior contact (should it be long or short??), no matter what you think about that, you do have to admit that meeting changes everything?? Yes?? That is a universal rule...or should be?? Yes??

You do mean someone asking for your digits IRL.. what is the timeline there.. Correct?

I am not going to set a date and time if I have gotten a person number IRL. I will usually call within 2-3 days
