I find it hard to think of overweight people as attractive. People may base it on genes, or something else that isn't their fault. Most of the time it still is. You could know you have bad genes for physical fitness, or be taking medication (I don't feel as negatively about medication related obesity). Yet I still see people order those extra large value meals with a diet coke. Really? Come on, you know your body has issues with heavy fatty stuff you could make the effort to at least eat properly.

I look at it as, if you can't care for yourself, how can you care for me?

That being said people who are too skinny are exactly the best for me either. I used to work with a girl who I could swear I'd be able to fit my hands around her waist. She seemed to delicate.

Good lord. So since I am overweight I guess I'll just keep my mouth shut. This is a stupid thread. Why don't you ask how thin would I date or how ugly would I date? Its all about physical attractiveness and what the other person is seeking.
======================

I'm not sure I'd call it a stupid thread so much as a needless attempt to regurgitate for the nth time, everything that's already been said in hundreds of similar threads here.
This is just a new way to ask the same old question that's sure to generate defensive rebuttals, countless self-descriptions and affirmations of health, and 30-plus pages of same ole, same ole.

Told ya this thread was gonna flame fast

Myself, I've had to listen to how "You'll never find a man with how you dress, You'll never keep a man with how you act, You'll never get married with how you do chores, You'll never ...." jus pick it an I'll never whatever in my grandmother's eyes.

But see, she's wrong on at least 85% of what she says I'll never do, because of whatever. So I try not to listen to 'nay sayers' an go on bout what I'm doin, or not doin, because then I have no one to blame but myself for whatever happenin or not happenin with or to me.

So my advice is to do this, figure out what you like, then go for it, an dont judge others too harshly. Karma does come back on ya for all those nasty lil thoughts you have judgin others poorly.

Oh! Karma is when someone throws a cricket on your desk an you freak out, then said person comes back to get the cricket an try again
Only this time the cricket jumps up the sleeve of said person, an THEY freak out even worse than you did. Thats awesome.

I'm 5'3 and weigh 130 pounds but am only a size US 8 as I due to exercising a lot have some muscle. There's a huge difference if the weight is fat or muscle so you can't judge people on the weight alone.

My ex-husband was 6'5 and weighed 260 pounds and he was fat. My ex-BF was 6'1 and weighed 210 pounds but it was all muscle.

If you took off the hat, you would be lighter...and shorter! Hee hee!

I think my limit is if you break out in a sweat getting out of the car, bending over to pick something up, stuff like that. ...Yuck - that is just too much for me.

It's not specifically about height or weight. It's about interest level and effort. Anyone who says they like to (hike, bike, run, work out) as much as I do, may not be fashion-model thin but certainly isn't going to be morbidly overweight either. So that's my starting point.
