it seems a big leap from handshake to bedroom...though these seem to be some of the preferred ways for some people to say goodbye...on a first date.

What about kissing? What do you have to say about that?

I don't think it is a bad thing if you decide to kiss on the first date. I really have to have a fantastic date to kiss someone on our first date. I'm a hugger for first ( and sometimes second) dates.

I am not so into kissing but I do expect a hug to end the date, first, second, etc.

I think this is a myth, I've yet to have one turn into a prince.

It's a myth perpetuated by horny toads (and frogs)

If the date went even halfway well, I expect a kiss at the end. I don't think I've ever gone on a second date where the first date didn't end in a kiss.

You would deny the OP her dream come true?

Having a nightmare come true is not a good thing.

interesting....I've had second dates come out of both....though come to think of it....the one I am thinking of most recently that did not invovle a kiss...did involve dancing and sitting close to each other, though no kissing. More than a hug though....or handshake...

I've held hands too....I don't know why but that seems even more intimate to me than kissing sometimes....
