Even though it's still warm here in So Cal, I've got crisp Autumn air and colorful, falling leaves on my mind.....

Which makes me wonder, what are some of your favorite dates for fall? Hay rides, leaf-collecting walks, any local Fall traditions you like to share with dates?

Haunted attractions. Scary trails, tours, haunted houses. I LOVE Halloween.

In Texas Fall is a lovely time, it starts to cool off to where it is pleasant to spend a lot of time outside. With that said, I owe the girlfriend a picnic, last two times we tried to have run it decided to rain. Then I ended up being gone all last weekend, and this weekend she is sick and I am working two night shifts (tonight and tomorrow night) at the support desk. But I think the top 3 fall dates:

1. Picnic: with an actual basket, wine, and crackers, and little sandwiches.

2. Late night stargazing, nothing better than going out at night to a secluded place with a bottle of wine on a fall night laying out on a blanket gazing at the stars.

3. Theme parks, the summer is far too hot for this -- sadly the girlfriend isn't a big roller coaster girl.

Day drives through the mountains to observe the fall colors with plenty of stops to enjoy the scenery.

Raking leaves together, and cursing like sailors when the wind blows them around and we have to start over again.

Tailgating and going to a football game

It doesn't sound romantic, but it's so much fun!

Beach bonfire on a clear night, clear enough to see the stars glisten. Have blankets, pillows, and supplies for smores. If only a guy would actually do something like this!
