I'm gearing up the revamp Groups a bit - purge, encourage creation of new Groups, help Group owners grow their Groups, etc. so I'd like to know - what Groups do you participate in here on eHA?

Any favorites?

Any ideas for making Groups better?

Once this thread gets going I'll probably move it into my Community Team Group but I wanted to get as many eyes on it as possible given that we have so many newbies here

Yes, several. My current favourites are CSC and Christian Singles. I like the Creative Writing one too, but it is not very active since Outlaw1 left.

I can give that Group a new owner. I'll have a look and see who might be active enough to be interested in taking over. If you have an idea for a new Owner or are interested yourself, let me know!

As long as you don't try to fix what isn't broken. Some groups are doing well. They would suffer if micromanaged.

I hope you understand I mean this in the utmost friendly and helpful way.

Hey Lori - It would be nice if groups could have a place for photo albums.

I am a member of several groups though I rarely visit them. However there are a great many people who only visit the groups and rarely if ever post on the main boards.

AAA Completely Stupid Conversatons is a group I recently joined. I think it's pretty active and a whole heck of a lot of fun! Every one says they like a sense of humor and this groups got it.
