They say age is nothing but a number. But is it? Would you date someone if you had a 15-year age gap?

At some point 15 years apart is going to be too many years apart. For almost 30 years I was married to a person 11 years older than I am. I usually had to adjust to his friends, seldom the other way around.
He is now married to a woman 12 years younger than I am so there is 23 years difference in this situation.
Since I am in my mid-fifties - 70 seems too old - not very many years until I would be a caregiver not a partner. Seven or eight years is the max number of years older that I would consider.

I've successfully dated a man who was exactly 15 years older than myself and I would do it again in a heartbeat if the right man came around.

As for being 15 years younger than me...that would make the man 19 yrs old. Not too sure about that one. Again, it would have to be the right person.

No, I would not date an individual 15 years younger then myself. Age does mean alot. I have 15 years of life experience this person would not have. Yes, age in my opinion does mean alot. Every facet of life bring an experiece whether positive or negative.

No, 15 years difference is too much for me. I prefer someone who is at the same stage of life as me. I am dating someone who is 8 years younger, and it is working out well so far. I think my preferred range is 8-10 years age difference.

I'm a 51 year old guy and feel blessed to look like I'm in my 30s. Let's say I'll go 36 but not 66...in fact unfortnately some women my age look old to me.
