I'm in for the night - what are your plans?

We had a beautiful late summer day (sunny and low 70's) for a picnic I volunteered at and afterwards I bought a new couch ... finally!

I'm in also VB girl. I'm moving in 10 days, so I've been packing. That's not exactly exciting, but it needed doing.

I've heard from family and friends that it has been beautiful the last couple of days in Chicago.

It hasn't been bad here either (well....humid and hot but not topping 100 today! and last night was nice...70's).

I spent the day in Austin and got (finally) the best haircut I've had since living in Texas! I did my research....cuz they just can't get this mane correct 'round here! got a pedicure....did some driving and searching around for fun stuff to do in the future. Had some excellent bbq with some friends last night ....

came home and cleaned, checked the bank balance..

oh I guess I'll be staying in tonight.

I'm in for the night. I'm catching up on some grading from when I was sick earlier this week and checking in here every once in awhile.
