I just met an amazing women online. Granted, we've only been on a few dates, but it's difficult for me to imagine why this person is still single. I feel fortunate to have her company. Anyway, I would like to get suggestions from people on fresh date ideas.

Here's a description of the dates we've had so far:

Does anyone have any fresh date ideas they can pass along?

I prefer NOT to do something banal as dinner and a movie. Some other ideas I'm considering are a 3-hour cooking class. There's also an upcoming one-day art class.

Thanks in advance!

I think you are doing great on your own. So you want to go out with me???

Provide ages, fitness level and area and I will see if I can come up with anything for you.

You seem to like being outdoors, know anywhere to go hiking ? Not a killer hike, just casual with another picnic.

You're doing great. Some other ideas: go to a museum to see a special exhibit, pottery class, live jazz club, biking, wine tasting (one evening or a multi-week class), volunteer together at a charity event, explore local vintage or resale stores for old records or books (if you share such interests).

Those are really good ideas too.

You could also kayak. And I like Haz's idea for a hike and a picnic. That would be a great date to me.

Dinner would not be banal if you chose the right setting. In her shoes after all the golf I'd be ready for a romantic night out. I'd want to see how you clean up

If you're already running out of ideas, maybe the relationship is running out of steam.

But I thought of another idea - I would get out a map of your area and have her close her eyes and pick a spot blindly. Then plan a route and take a day roadtrip and see where you end up. You guys can bring some music and spend time in the car talking and sharing the music that you like. Find a whole in the wall place to eat and explore. Sounds fun to me...

I mean that if he's already had 4 dates, his head ought to be full of possibilities. He shouldn't need to be checking with a bunch of strangers who don't know him, his lady friend, or anything about the area they live in.
