She should be an extrovert, engaging people and learning about them. There must be a shortage of these type, as I have really only met one woman so far who was just awsome in any environment. But she is in Sidney, Australia so that is too far for me.
Dated one like that back in my twenties and really should have probably never let that go. Have never met anyone that funny that was not crazy again.

Ok, to be honest I think a woman who is funny is cool to hang around with but it does not necessarily mean that I will be attracted to her. For example, there is a girl I know--funny as all hell, gets my jokes and laughs with me all the time. There is plenty of back and forth between us, ribbing each other and the like and it's fun. Am I attracted to her...honestly...you are going to hate me...but sorry...no. Will I ever be attracted to her? Probably not. That doesn't mean she won't make a great friend, it just means that I'm not attracted to her more than just that.

On the contrary, a friend of mine is slightly overweight. However, he can make a girl laugh like no other. Do girls love him? Yes! So I think there is a gender difference here.

I'm not trying to start a gender war, but I'm just being honest. So don't start flaming or anything. Please be mature adults about this. Thanks.

My ex was the funniest person I ever met; razor sharp with an enormous range of references. We had literally hundreds of running jokes that waxed and waned and which we bounced off each other. It was a kind of showing off to each other flirting and was positive and bonding.

She was a very special woman. We had some really good times while she was here. She really, really, really tried so hard to get me to go over with her.

I told her very clearly when we met that my first priority is my boys, PERIOD. Simple fact is I am not moving to Australia and then have to travel back and forth to see my boys.

Hard part is trying NOT to use her as a measure of who I want as a partner.

Ahhh yes. Some of the funniest guys I've known have been a little (or a lot) crazy. Intelligence, creativity ...

Definite plus -- except that they're CRAZY.
