Some genetic characteristics skip a generation. Perhaps this will too?

LOL!

Some men consider me funny and compliment me on this. Others see it as a competition -- those would probably be the insecure ones, I suppose, although perhaps they just take a lot of pride in being the funniest one in the bedroom.

I dated a comedian a few months ago. Now that was interesting. He had a slow, deadpan kind of humor and I'm not sure, but I suspect he didn't think I was very funny. I tend to be more quick-witted and less methodical about joking around. Maybe it was the drinking thing (he didn't drink at all).

I don't drink and I find you quite funny. Maybe he didn't have the sausage for it.

I'm not talking about women "with a good sense of humour" I mean women who are fast and witty and funny.

My ex was the funniest person I ever met; razor sharp with an enormous range of references. We had literally hundreds of running jokes that waxed and waned and which we bounced off each other. It was a kind of showing off to each other flirting and was positive and bonding.
Me likey....however, I encounter a woman like that only very, very rarely.
