Hello to all our newbies...and to those who read but don't post.

Please say hello, tell us a bit about you -- and just for fun, let's add a fun fact: tell us about a unique talent you have.

I'll start:

I'm Lori and posting here is my job! Well...kind of, I'm Online Community Manager for eHarmony so I work on overseeing the Advice Community as well as the Communities of four other sites we own.

Let's see, my interesting fact.....unique talent....does sarcasm count as a talent? OK, maybe not so let's see......oh, I know -- I know how to make my own jewelry and I'll often whip up earrings or a necklace to go with my outfit, usually a few minutes before I walk out the door

OK let's hear from you!

I'm 32, good job, own my own home, the kids consist of a dog and a motorcycle. Hobbies include music, reading and movies. I just started running and the goal is to run a marathon by my 35th birthday.

I was way too fussy in my 20s so now I try to get at least 2 dates in before making any decisions. I've never been a fan of meeting women at bars through experience, hence the interest in online dating.

jec30, I think online dating is great. I've met many of my closest friends online, I think it's a great way to have a "meeting of the minds" first, before seeing what's going on in terms of chemistry, etc. in person.

And way to go on your marathon goal! I'm hoping to drive a marathon soon.



(I did mention the sarcasm, right?) lol
