I am curious to hear what peoples weirdest argument they have had, mainly curious about some things that got to the level of argument when it really should have never gotten there.

For me it was an argument whether when doing laundry you should empty the lint guard after you use the machine or whether you should do it before you do laundry (ie previous person just leaves it).

For me there are way too many to list here. And most of those were pretty much in this catagory for sure. More than likely I would run out of "paper" here.

Mine was:

How long is this?

It's this long.

No. It's that long.

Measure it again... from here.

(I didn't even know where I was going with this at first)

I say you clean it out before you use it. That way the you are sure that the dryer works efficiently.

I would likely check it before I turned the dryer on anyway... so why bother checking it twice. It's all about being green.

We all know how hard it is to empty that thing out.

Very odd argument.

Mine, along the same lines, is probably a toss up over how the toilet paper had to go on the roll, and whether or not the shower curtain should be pulled closed, or left open, after a shower. *shakes head* Weird.

Ha ha - before in the case of both washing machine and dryer. Washing machine so it doesn't back up and get over your clean wash. Dryer, so it doesn't explode. (True story!)

The weirdest argument was about whether or not it is true that when paper hits water, there is a split second where this turns the paper as hard as steel before it soaks in the water. Then if you jump into the water from a height (diving board into swimming pool) and you land on the paper on this split second with your leg, your leg will break.

No joke, major row over this prime discussion piece!

Over. (just personal pref here tho)

Both. (leave open for tub to dry, then close to dry curtain - to minimize mold/mildew )

I've had a few arguments about whether we were actually having an argument...

arguing about shower curtains and laundry is par for the course. truly weird is arguing about the moral of the story of the boy who cried wolf.

I had an argument with myself in the Vortex thread. An eHA moderator sent me a warning about using inappropriate language.
