That's a terrible story...lol (brilliantly written, too!).

This may be my favorite part:

While trying to describe the suspects to police, the men decided to rate the women on a scale of 1 to 10. Three said the women all rated a "2." But the man described by police as the most intoxicated disagreed and claimed they rated a "4."

I hate to get all technical, but we have already covered the hilarity...isn't hiring an "escort" illegal in Seattle? Did those guys call the cops on themselves?

I kinda liked "possibly from Tacoma" and "she called everyone baby"

There isn't any law against hiring someone for a girlfriend experience. As long as sex isn't expected - it is hard to prosecute.

But here in Vegas, I've heard so many stories of people hiring the people from the cards, craigslist etc - no one EVER looks like their photos, haha.

Someone told me for their 21st birthday, them and their friends got drunk, so they decided to call the "cards" they got from the strip for some strippers. When the women came, they were way overweight, completely ugly and smelled horrid. And then they said the fee was only to show up, it would cost extra to do anything! (Darn upsellers!)

Actually, I've learned a lot - I am typically very nice and trusting, so the first girl I ever met from an online dating thing (not here) said she had a broken camera. She claimed she worked out all the time and she had an average build.

I didn't think average was at least 100 pounds overweight and she damaged my car! It wouldn't have been bad if she was honest, but I wasn't expecting that.

This is Seattle after all, this is not any big deal here. Does sound like the escorts could have been from Tacoma, it is not that far from Seattle.

Happens all the time. You gotta ask how recent the photos are. maybe even ask for some new photos. make it a game if you have to-- "send me a picture of yourself on your favorite hiking trail," if she says she loves hiking and hikes all the time. Too many times I met guys that looked nothing like the pictures to where I almost wasn't sure if the man approaching me was the right man.

And what about the other little lies? DOn't say you are 6' tall if you are shorter than me and I am 5'6". I will only wonder what else you lied about!!!

I am picturing the writer having to literally bite her tongue to minimize the snark.

And I see here possible justification for a government-funded study: Studies show that alcohol DOES make the opposite set more attractive in proportion to the amount of alcohol ingested...

I am kind of wondering if the 'escorts' were actually men, now, by the descriptions....

I was laughing as I was falling asleep last night as I kept picturing this taking place.
