Hello,
Just wanted to get others opinions on whether or not piercings are a deal breaker when dating. Does location matter, number of piercings, do you think women would be judged more harshly than men etc.? This is meant to be a fun post...just wanted to see what others thought. I've been dating someone who let me know he had a piercing below the waist. I personally don't care and am curious, but noticed that he was hesitant to tell me at first.

When I was in college I let a girl pierce my ear with an ice cube and a needle. That's as low as a piercing as I'd get. On women I do find nose and navel piercings kind of hot. Other than that they start to seem bizarre.

Piercings drive me wild. Not sure why though. Love nipple piercings.

I like navel piercings for the ladies.

I like subtlety a lot when it comes to art.

A tiny stud on her eyebrow or nose is hot. The navel piercing works for me as well.

for me, i don't find piercings are a deal breaker but then again, i'm 21 and i think for guys under the age of about 25 it's pretty common place to have some holes in your body. after that age, however.. i'm not a fan.

some people like guys/gals (partially) because of their piercings, whereas others like them despite their piercings. kind of like tattoos. if someone find you attractive (and enjoy your company, etc), then they will get over the piercings even if they don't love it. and i think that, for the most part, people get bored/grow out of the bodymod phase so it's generally only a temporary "issue"!

Yeah, nipple piercings really do it for me, too. Not sure why, but different strokes for different folks, I guess!

For me, I detest piercings on a man! NO, I won't date a man with piecings.

I love the female body in it's most natural form. All things being equal...I'll take a woman who's skin is unaltered over one who has piercings and tattoos.
I also like it when women don't color their hair (unless to remove grey). A brunette coloring her hair blonde seems unnecessary.

I have no piercings. And anything more than an earring on a woman is more than I would tolerate.
