Been reading through the various threads and there's some lovely, witty, intelligent and self effacing people on these boards.

I thought it'd be fun to start a thread that was a bit like the introductory meeting with AA but this is DA (dating anonymous). You know: Hi, my name is Trixie, and the real reason I'm single is .......

After all, recoginsing the problem is the first step to recovery.

It's only meant to be fun so if you don't have a sense of humour it'd be better all round if you didn't post here. There's lots of rant threads out there (I know, I posted a few of 'em) but this isn't one of them.....

Hi, my name is Trixie and the real reason I'm single is all those pesky restraining orders.

Of course I know that you can't make someone love you, but sometimes if you stalk 'em, they panic and give in.

I'm single because I kept hearing "3rd time's the charm", and that sounded great, but I had figure out some way to get rid of the 1st and 2nd husbands before I could get to that 3rd one.

i am single because i got merried, and my "X" wife got a job at subway and slept with the store manager. and she tried to blame it on trust when she sneaked out every day.

I like to think I have a sense of humor, but if I were to post the real reason I'm single, I'm afraid it might spoil the fun.

It wouldn't be a rant, I can assure you of that.
