It's a full moon tonight. Saturday. Tepid weather, at least here in Dallas.

Beer's cold. The mosquitos aren't too angry.

Mr. Moon said to me, "Why you worrying, little buddy?"

"I got bills to pay," I said.

"What are bills?"

"I had to get stuff," I said, "and stuff generates bills."

"Ah," said the moon. "What's stuff?"

"You know, a house, car, a big tv. Stuff."

"Ah," he said.

"Ah, what? What does that mean?"

"Nothing. Just thinking what a nice night it is up here."

It is so complicated, ya'll, and it doesn't even have to be.

I'll howl. LSU just tied up the game with Washington.

So you're saying you have two bills? 2 > 1

this place seems so quiet tonight....

I would howl at the moon but it's raining in San Antonio for the first time in what seems like decades.

I'd like to sit on the patio but they are still cleaning up from the 50 year anniversary party.....yes, people still stay married for 50 years...oh look, and I guess I could be watching snl..

for whatever reason I've been reading up on 'what is the worst ghetto neighborhood in the US' on another message board....tight race. pride is involved.

some people want to be the best in life....some want recongintion for being the absolute worst...lol

I've come in from outside because it's chilly here in the Cleveland area--only 60 degrees. I'm not quite ready to dig out my jeans and sweatshirts just yet.

I still have some windows open, though, because I'm stubborn, or maybe just plain silly, and I'm listening to the tree frogs serenade one another, interrupted only occasionally by the crickets, who sound like they're snoring quietly. Other than those sounds, it's very quiet outside.

The moon is shining brightly in my front living room window.

The night sounds are soothing; the wine is wonderfully delicious.

I suppose I could howl at the moon, but would it hear me? And if it heard me, would it want to know my troubles?

I think I'll enjoy the peace and quiet and have another glass of wine instead....

Section 3.A of my HOA "Rules of Conduct" strictly prohibits howling at the moon after 10pm...so I'll continue watching SNL.

They'd probably love some of your wine, too.
